for Kathy as Kathy
knows how each and
every driver died
she didn't feel she
could speak with out
breaking down. I
Kathy had convinced
myself i could do
this speech until
about 1 o'clock i
was standing at the
wall and a little
girl about 3 years
old said there's my
daddy, I thought
great I will get him
to help me with
something, when i
looked around there
was a mother and
this little girl
pointing to a plaque
on the wall, well
folks that was the
end of me for the
day anything made

Sponsors trucks -
These trucks were
lined up in a semi
circle at first they
didn't know why when
they found out why
they were trilled to
be part of the
proceedings Mack
trucks had 7 trucks
and drivers, Nolan's
Kenworths, White
Coach's had a coach,
Gearbox services had
there vintage truck
there, Lindsay Bros
and Volvo all lined
up along with Sapra
Fleet that were
asked to be part of
the proceeds by
Kathy, I would love
to have had hundreds
of trucks but it
would have spoilt
the effect said
Kathy, we had
truck drivers line
up that brought
there trucks for the
day it looked really
good. In the semi
circle was aprox
2000 people who came
to be part of the
day.

John
Wirth "the lone
Piper" Played
amazing Grace as he
marched past each
truck they turned
there lights on, at
the completion of
his song John stood
and
saluted at
the wall a site i
(Kathy) will never
forget as he
finished his song
the horns of all the
trucks blew and the
hole crowd clapped
and clapped as 208
blue balloons were
released into the
air, the sound was
awesome and no one
wanted to stop it
was a site that left
no eye dry at Lake
Apex Park. I have
been told that the
trucks could be
heard for miles and
some people in there
housed shed a tear
as they knew what
the sound was for.

A young
man and his mother and
those beautiful flowers
says it all

This
pulls at the heart
strings, looking for
their loved ones after
the ceremony and putting
the flowers on the wall.
