Mission Statement

 

Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Incl is a registered non-profit organisation

  1. To raise funds to build Stage Two and Three of the Memorial Wall cost over $330,000-00, this was designed to be a monument and an icon to the industry.
  2. To continue to place plaques on the wall of drivers or people who have significantly contributed to the industry.
  3. To help the families left behind where possible with maybe a computer or school books for the children.
  4. To help with medical aids for drivers as needed.
  5. To help injured drivers to be retrained in another position of unable to drive again.
  6. To be there for the families and friends to show support by way of memorial convoys, Memorial days.
  7. To promote the industry
  8. To promote Safety and Awareness for All in Transport

 

Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Inc are a registered "non-profit" organisation that is run by President Kathy White, Vice President John Zupp, Secretary Dionne White, Treasurer/Office administrator Sharon Andrews. All of these positions are voluntary - non paid positions.

The books are audited every year and presented to the Office of Fair Trading; these are available to all Members of Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial Inc.

 

Funds that are raised help run the office, the Memorial Day, The Memorial Convoy, and all funds raised after the costs of these events are used for the extensions to the Memorial wall.

We welcome all donations no matter how small.
